ZMH Overview

Zimmer Holdings is a world leader in the design, development, manufacture and marketing of orthopaedic reconstructive implants, which restore function in joints, such as knees, hips, shoulders and elbows. The company also develops trauma products, used primarily to reattach or stabilise damaged bone or tissue. Following its 2003 acquisition of Swiss orthopaedic group, Centerpulse AG, the company has operations in over 24 countries worldwide, selling products in more than 80 countries. The group’s customers include orthopaedic surgeons, hospitals and healthcare purchasing organisations.
