Boliden Ab is a Swedish mining and smelting company. Its name comes from the Boliden mine, nearby the Swedish town of Skelleftea, where gold was found in 1924. The company operates in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Ireland and the Netherlands. Boliden’s main products include copper, zinc, lead, gold and silver.
