Allstate is the holding company of Allstate Insurance Company, which provides personal property and casualty insurance, life insurance and retirement and investment products. Allstate's primary business is the sale of private car and home insurance, but also sells a variety of other personal property and casualty insurance products, life insurance, investment and retirement products, and selected commercial property and casualty coverages.
