APC Overview

Anadarko is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in the world. At the end of 2002, the company had 2.3bn barrels of oil equivalent of proved reserves. Its major areas of operations are sited in the US, mainly in Texas, Louisiana, the mid-continent region and the western states, Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico, as well as in Canada and Algeria. The group also operates in other regions to a lesser extent.
