US futures are pointing to a sea of red across the market on Monday as the congressional debt committee is expected to announce that they have not agreed on plans to cut the deficit by $1.2trn. The Dow is set to fall 146 points to 11,621, the S&P 500 is expected to open 15 lower at 1,199, while the Nasdaq is due to start down 22 points to 2,228.
