US pre-open: Stocks to open modestly higher ahead of FOMC

The main US equity benchmarks are being called to open modestly higher, with average gains of 0.4% at the start of trading. That on the back of news that the People´s Republic of China may well indeed participate in any future Eurozone rescue package and despite a ‘mixed’ news-flow coming out of Greece.
