Deere & Co. Overview

Founded in 1837, Deere & Company is now the world's leading manufacturer of agricultural and forestry equipment, a leading supplier of equipment used in lawn, grounds and turf care, and a major manufacturer of construction equipment. The group also manufactures and markets engines used in heavy equipment. Other subsidiaries include John Deere Credit, which provides financial services worldwide, and John Deere Health, offering health care benefits. The company’s operations currently span 160 countries worldwide.
