General Motors Overview
Detroit-based, General Motors (GM), is the world's largest vehicle manufacturer. Founded in 1908, the company has manufacturing operations in 32 countries and its vehicles are sold in 192 countries. GM's automotive brands include Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Holden, HUMMER, Oldsmobile, Opel, Pontiac, Saab, Saturn and Vauxhall. The company also operates GMAC Financial Services, a leading global financial services business, offering automotive and commercial financing, mortgage and insurance products.
