H&R Block Inc. Overview

H&R Block is a diversified company with subsidiaries that deliver tax, financial, mortgage and business products and services. It operates more than 9,000 tax offices and 98 Financial Centres in the United States, as well as more than 1,000 tax offices in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The company ranks as the world's largest tax services company, with almost 21m clients in the United States and 11 other countries worldwide. The Kansas City-based firm announced revenues for 2003 of $3.8bn, up from $3.3bn the year before.
