HST Overview

Host Hotels and Resorts, a real estate investment trust, was formed in 1993 when the Marriott Corporation split its operation into two separate companies. The company owns 120 hotels in North America, South America, and Europe. The company operates under different brands, the majority Marriott and Ritz- Carlton which are managed by Marriott International, a sister company.
