JNY Overview

Jones Apparel Group is a designer and retailer of branded clothes, shoes and accessories. Originally a division of W. R. Grace & Co, the company was purchased from W.R. Grace and incorporated as Jones Apparel Group Inc in 1975. The New York-based company’s leading brands include Jones New York, Polo Jeans Company licensed from Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation, Nine West and Easy Spirit. The group also markets costume jewellery under the Tommy Hilfiger brand licensed from Tommy Hilfiger Corporation, the Givenchy brand licensed from Givenchy Corporation, and footwear and accessories under the ESPRIT brand licensed from Esprit Europe, B.V.
