EL Overview

Founded in 1946, with IPO at $26 per share ($13 on a post split basis) in November 1995, Estee Lauder currently comprises 26 company brand names, such as Aramis and Tommy Hilfiger, dealing with hair and skin care, perfume and makeup. EL has about 28,500 full-time employees (as at July 2007).
