Loews Corp. Overview

Loews Corporation is a holding company and one of the largest diversified financial corporations in the United States. Its principal subsidiaries include: CNA Financial Corporation, one of the largest insurance organisations in the US; Lorillard, America's oldest tobacco company; Loews Hotels, which operates hotels in the US and Canada; Diamond Offshore Drilling, one of the world's largest offshore drilling companies; Texas Gas Transmission, LLC; and Bulova Corporation, a major distributor and marketer of watches and clocks.
