MTG Overview

Holding company, MGIC Investment Corporation, provides private mortgage insurance coverage in the United States to the home mortgage lending industry. The company’s wholly owned and principal subsidiary, Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation, is America’s leading provider of private mortgage insurance coverage, with $189.6bn primary insurance in force covering 1.55m mortgages as at the end of 2003. Based in Milwaukee, the company also has 28 offices across the US and Puerto Rico.
