SHW Overview

Founded in 1866, Sherwin-Williams is now a global producer of paints and coatings, serving professional, industrial, commercial and retail customers around the world. The group runs its business through four principal segments: Paint Stores, Consumer, Automotive Finishes and International Coatings. For the year ended 31 December 2003, Paint Stores accounted for 64.1% of group sales. The company’s leading trademarks and trade names include Sherwin-Williams, Dutch Boy, Western, Krylon and Kem-Tone.
