STJ Overview

Minnesota-based, St. Jude Medical, is a global cardiovascular device company. It develops and manufactures products, such as pacemakers for treating cardiac rhythm disorders; diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology catheters; introducers, catheters, and vascular closure devices for cardiology/vascular access; mechanical and tissue heart valves and valve repair products; and anastomotic connectors for coronary bypass surgery. The company sells products in more than 120 countries and has 15 operations and manufacturing facilities worldwide. It also provides clinical research, physician training and education, patient education and support services.
