THC Overview

Through its subsidiaries, Tenet Healthcare owns and operates acute care hospitals and related health care services. As at 31 December 2002, the company owned or operated 114 domestic general hospitals, with 27,870 licensed beds and related healthcare facilities, serving urban and rural communities in 16 states. Its subsidiaries also owned one general hospital and related healthcare facilities in Barcelona, and held investments in other healthcare companies.
