VMC Overview

Vulcan Materials is a producer of industrial materials and is America’s largest producer of construction aggregates, a leader in the production of other construction materials, and a major manufacturer of chemicals. The construction materials business produces aggregates, primarily crushed stone, sand and gravel, which are used to build roads and non-residential properties. Vulcan Chemicals produces basic industrial chemicals, including chlorine, hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, potassium chemicals and chlorinated organics, for a range of markets. The company employs approximately 8,500 people in the US.
