WM Overview

Waste Management is North America’s leading provider of comprehensive waste and environmental services. The group provides collection, transfer, recycling and resource recovery and disposal services. It also operates waste-to-energy facilities in the United States. The Houston-based company ranks as the largest collector of recyclable materials from businesses and households in the US and Canada, and is the largest recycler of municipal solid waste in North America. Its customers include commercial, industrial, municipal and residential customers, other waste management companies, electric utilities and governmental entities throughout the US, Puerto Rico and Canada.
