WY Overview

Weyerhaeuser is one of the largest integrated forest products companies in the world, with 2003 sales of $19.9bn. Its principal operations include the growing and harvesting of timber, the manufacture, distribution and sale of forest products, and real estate development and construction. These operations fall in to the following business segments: Timberlands, Wood Products, Pulp and Paper, Containerboard, Packaging and Recycling and Real Estate and Related Assets. Founded in 1900, the company now employs approximately 57,000 people in 18 countries.
