Aryzta Overview

In August 2008, IAWS Group agreed to buy a further stake in Hiestand Holding increasing its holding from 32% to 83%, creating a new joint company called Aryzta AG with combined sales of 2.3 billion euros. Aryzta operates in the bakery and convenience food segments, and the merger brings together two companies with similar operations in different geographical areas.
