BBBY Overview

Founded in 1971, Bed Bath & Beyond operates a chain of more than 575 superstores across America, selling domestics merchandise and home furnishings commonly found in department stores. These items include bed linens, bath accessories and kitchen textiles, cookware, dinnerware, glassware and basic housewares. The company prides itself on its competitiveness, with many prices at or below department store sale prices. On 5 March 2002, the company acquired health and beauty care retailer, Harmon Stores.
