Comcast Corp. Overview

Philadelphia-based, Comcast Corporation, is involved in three principal lines of business: cable, commerce and content. The company is the world’s largest cable-television operator, serving approximately 21.3m cable subscribers. The cable operation involves development, management and operation of broadband communications networks, including video, high-speed Internet and telephone service. The content businesses include majority ownership of Comcast-Spectacor, Comcast SportsNet, The Golf Channel, Outdoor Life Network, G4, a controlling interest in E! Entertainment Television and Style.
