Intel Corp. Overview

Founded in 1968, Intel created the world's first microprocessor in 1971 and is now the world's largest computer chip maker. Intel supplies the computing and communications industries with chips, boards, systems, and software building blocks and operates three product line segments: the Intel Architecture business, the Intel Communications Group, and the Wireless Communications and Computing Group. Intel is also a leading manufacturer of computer, networking and communications products.
