Red Hat Inc. Overview

The Company is engaged in providing open source software solutions to the enterprise. Core enterprises include Red Hat Enterprise Linux, its enterprise middleware platform and JBoss Enterprise Middleware, its virtualisation solutions. The Company employs an open source software development and licensing model that uses the collaborative input of an international community of contributors to develop and enhance software. The collectively developed software is distributed under open source licenses. In addition, the Company provides a broad range of management and services including consulting and 24x7 support. Red Hat's global training program operates worldwide and features RHCE and JBCAA, the global standard Linux and middleware certifications.
