TXN Overview

Dallas-based, Texas Instruments, is the world's leading maker of telephone microchips. It operates three principal businesses: Semiconductor, which produces core products such as analog integrated circuits and digital signal processors; Sensors and Controls, which sells custom-designed sensors, controls and radio frequency identification systems; and Educational and Productivity Solutions, a supplier of graphing handheld calculators and other calculators. The company currently has operations in more than 25 countries.
