Tesco tanker will take time to turn around

Brokers were in the mood to cut Tesco a bit of slack after the supermarket giant's first quarter results failed to sparkle.

Panmure Gordon said the update was "not good" but drew comfort from the fact Tesco made no change to full year guidance.
