LONDON (ShareCast) - Funeral services provider Dignity said it continues to trade well and remains in line with expectations for the full year.'
Operating profit for the 13-weeks to March 28 rose to £17.7m from £16.6m in the same period last year on revenue that increased 8.6% to £56.9m.
“Trading since 28 March 2008 continues to be in line with expectations and there were no other significant transactions in the period to 11 May 2008,” said the group.
Dignity has acquired a total of 9 funeral locations and one crematorium and cemetery so far this year, for a total consideration of £17m.
