LONDON (ShareCast) - Cooker and kitchen equipment maker Aga Foodservice confirmed the appointment of John Coleman as non-executive chairman with immediate effect.

Chairman Vic Cooker retired on May 9 after the group's AGM.

"The Board wishes to thank Vic for his significant contribution to the company over the last eight years as a non-executive director and for his leadership of the Board as Chairman over the last four years," said the group.

Coleman used to be the former chief executive of House of Fraser.
