LONDON (ShareCast) - Clinical information systems developer Clinical Computing reported slightly reduced losses for 2007 and said it is in the early stages of “an exciting partnership” with a global medical technology company.

Revenue for 2007 rose to £1.9m from £1.8m while loss before tax narrowed to £0.91m from £0.96m.

The company said that its Clinical Vision web based solution is currently being tested by users and should be ready to go live in 2009.

The board said that the healthcare and resource management portfolios the group owns are both “somewhat recession proof” and neither is expected to suffer unduly from short term reductions in general corporate spending.

“The group is at the early stages of an exciting partnership with a global medical technology company and together with our recent acquisition and expected release of our web based Clinical Vision solution entering the market in 2009 we hope to report decreasing operating losses in 2008 with a move to profitability in 2009,” the company said.
