Rolls-Royce takes over engine supplier RRPS for €2.43bn
Rolls-Royce said on Tuesday it acquired the remaining half of Rolls-Royce Power Systems (RRPS) for €2.43bn.

Rolls-Royce said on Tuesday it acquired the remaining half of Rolls-Royce Power Systems (RRPS) for €2.43bn.
The engine supplier was previously jointly owned by Rolls-Royce and the motor company Daimler, which will remain as being an important partner in developing diesel engines.
RRPS is headquartered in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
John Rishton, chief executive of Rolls-Royce said: "We are pleased to welcome Rolls-Royce Power Systems fully into Rolls-Royce. The business adds scale and capability to our reciprocating engines portfolio."
Rolls-Royce shares were up 0.49% to 1,027p on Tuesday.
