Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) said its customer complaints were down by a quarter in the first six months of 2014, as cases of mis-sold loan insurance declined.
Complaints in the first half fell 26% year-on-year, RBS said, while its NatWest division registered a 24% decrease in customer dissatisfaction.
"We're seeing an improvement in the number of complaints customers have to make to us, but the numbers are still too high and we're determined to tackle that," a bank spokesperson said in a statement.
The figures were in line with those released by Barclays on Friday, as Britain's second largest bank said it received 284,000 complaints in the first half of 2014, a 26% decrease year-on-year.
British banks have provisioned £22bn to compensate customers who have been mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI).
RBS shares were up 0.30% to 362.80p at 16:56 on Friday.
