LONDON (ShareCast) - Parcels and mail firm Business Post has made a good start to the year with all three divisions showing improvement.

Group revenues for the period increased by some 16% on the equivalent period last year, it said ahead of the AGM.

Parcel revenues showed satisfactory improvement on last year, especially B2B parcels, the statement said.

UK Mail, which competes with the Royal Mail, continues to achieve strong growth, driven by new business wins together with further mail volumes from existing customers while Specialist Services revenues up significantly on last year boosted by a courier contract with Orange, which commenced in the period.
