LONDON (ShareCast) - Plus-listed software provider SMARTiD has diversified into the private sector, securing orders to provide its ‘single sign on’ (SSO) software to the department store Debenhams and United Biscuits. Until now, SMARTiD’s main customer was the NHS.
SSO allows users to logon to networks with a single password, without being challenged for further usernames and passwords when using other applications.
"We are delighted to win these contracts with Debenhams and United Biscuits as traditionally the company has worked mainly with the NHS, and this proves that the SMARTiD SSO solution has broader industry applications,” chairman Scott Fletcher said.
Axon has completed the acquisition of the business of Consulting Principles, a leading provider of specialist supply chain and logistics SAP consulting services in Australia. The initial consideration is A$3.45m (£1.7m), payable in cash, with a maximum deferred cash consideration of A$3m (£1.4m).
