Out of the total 55 assays, ten returned grades of over 200g of gold per tonne (g/t), with six results returning more than 300g/t, while the average return over all samples was 67.3g/t.
"These are encouraging gold grades from the Clogau Mine and this work clearly demonstrates the potential of the area,” said group chairman Donald Strang.
"Stellar Resources looks forward to reporting the results of the independent geological survey over the Dolgellau gold belt and the commissioning of the pilot processing plant over the coming weeks."
The assays followed underground sampling at the Tyn n Cornel section of the project and the group has said it has recently purchased a processing plant, which should be operating over the next few weeks.
Stellar Resources shares were 39.90% up at 0.734p at 16:00 on Thursday.
