TabletTV US launches in the United States

Motive Television PLC, the technology provider to broadcasters and pay television operators, is pleased to announce that today, its joint venture in the United States, Tablet TV LLC (TTVUS) is launching full-scale marketing and distribution in San Francisco on Thursday 18 December 2014.

On 26 November 2014 the Company announced the launch of pre-orders in the US and has been accepting orders since then.  As of the morning of the 18 December 2014, Pacific standard time, TTVUS is expected to begin a large-scale marketing campaign including public relations announcements, digital and social media, advertising campaigns, and television spots, all targeted at the San Francisco Bay Area market of over 7.4 million people.

TV advertisements marketing TabletTV will begin running on Granite channel KOFY and on MeTV continuously beginning 18 December 2014 and are expected to reach over 1 million unique viewers per week.  This will be accompanied by press stories and increasing levels of social media.

Now that the TabletTV App is available on the [Apple] App Store, TTVUS will begin shipping TPods to the pre-ordered customers as soon as units from Asia are received and processed.  New orders will be delivered as soon as possible based on shipping schedules and delivery capabilities as determined by Amazon who is providing fulfillment services.

Although there is no guarantee as to the full financial impact to Motive, the Company believes that the launch of TTVUS provides the potential for a significant uplift in the Company's revenues over the next few years.

Tablet TV
