Ryanair said it carried 5.66m passengers in July, a 19% increase compared to last year, but the no-frills airliner saw its load factor fall by 1%.
The load factor - the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats - was down to 89% in July from 90% in the same period last year.
“Ryanair's latest passenger figures show that we are rapidly growing passenger numbers this year,” said Stephen McNamara, Head of Communications.
“The most significant thing about today's figures is that we carried over 15million passengers in the last three months. Passengers are increasingly attracted to Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares and our promise of no fuel surcharges ever,” he added.
Meanwhile, airport operator BAA is suing Ryanair over the Irish airliners refusal to pay increased landing fees at London's Stansted airport.
