EasyJet passenger numbers up 20%

Easyjet said passenger numbers rose 20% in July, while the no frills airline’s load factor also improved slightly.

The group said 4.47m passengers travelled on its planes during the month, compared with 3.72m the same time last year.

The load factor, the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, increased 0.8 percentage points to 89.3%.
