Artilium to acquire Belgian voice-over internet protocol firm
Telecoms software provider Artilium has acquired SpeakUp, a Belgian voice-over internet protocol (VoIP) telecom operator through its subsidiary, United Telecom.

The £233,600 price tag is being satisfied by £28,600 in cash, from existing resources, and 3.42m shares in the company worth 6p apiece.
In the year ended 31 December 2014 SpeakUp generated unaudited revenues of €200,332, operating profit of €13,616 and had net assets of €20,588 at the period end.
Artilium chief Bart Weijermars said: "With the acquisition of SpeakUp we are combining next-generation technology with proven telecommunication solutions to create exciting new products and services in the strongly growing Business market. In this market Fixed-Mobile integration and VoIP are key.
"These newly acquired capabilities will support our ambition to empower telecom operators around the globe."
