The move would see Dublin-based Ryanair linking its short-haul services to long-haul flights operating from partner airlines, the company's spokesman Robien Kiely confirmed on Tuesday.

Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary had previously avoided stretching ties with other carriers, arguing that it would be incompatible with the quick turnaround times central to the company's low-cost model.
But the increase in flight frequencies could allow the carrier to find new partners and enter into a new strategy.
O'Leary commented that one of the main areas of possible focus for cooperation could be with IAG at London Stansted, the company's biggest base, although IAG said it hadn't had any formal discussions on the issue.
Other options which are being explored by the company would focus on feeding Virgin Atlantic Airways and Norway's Air Shuttle long-haul operations from London Gatwick.
Ryanair expects to put plans in action by winter.
