LONDON (ShareCast) - Electrical retailer Kesa said chief executive Jean-Noel Labroue has decided to retire and will be replaced by Thierry Falque-Pierrotin.
Labroue will leave after a handover period to Falque-Pierrotin, who will join the group on 5 January 2009 as CEO.
Falque-Pierrotin joins from PPR Group where he has been chairman and CEO since 2001 of home decoration business Redcats Group.
“I am delighted to welcome Thierry to Kesa as our CEO. He brings with him substantial experience in European and International multichannel retailing and I look forward to working with him to build on the strong foundations for growth established by Jean-Noel,” said chairman David Newlands.
