LONDON (ShareCast) - Copper, zinc and lead miner Anglesey Mining has ceased negotiations with Australian firm Western Metals over the sale of Parys Mountain, Anglesey’s base metal project in North Wales.
“Following extensive discussions no agreement has been reached with Western Metals Limited of Perth, Western Australia in respect of the sale of the company's Parys Mountain copper-zinc-lead project in North Wales and negotiations on this matter have now ceased,” Anglesey said.
In April, Western offered to buy and develop the Parys Mountain properties, but Anglesey announced earlier this month that Western said it does not wish to proceed on the terms of that offer.
