LONDON (ShareCast) - Management and consultancy firm WSP Group has announced two major contract wins in Dubai.
The group has been appointed as the structural engineer for the Nakheel Tower and is also playing a major role in Meraas Development's $95bn Jumeira Gardens scheme, an urban regeneration plan. WSP will support the development of the master plan and infrastructure works for the latter over a period of several years.
“We expect to announce our appointment to further high-profile schemes across the Middle East in the very near future, thus further enabling work-sharing and supporting across our diverse business operations,” said WSP’s chief executive officer, Chris Cole.
“I expect our wide Middle East region to grow significantly in the next few years,” Cole added.
