Centaur Media, whose specialist publications include Design Week and The Lawyer, saw the decline in revenues ease further over the Christmas period.
Revenues were down by 15% from the same period the previous year in the last two months of 2009 compared with a 28% drop in the four months to October 31.
The company added that lower revenues had been mitigated by cost-saving initiatives.
‘While levels of forward visibility remain limited the Board is confident that the fundamental strengths of the Group provide a solid foundation for growth as markets continue to recover during 2010,’ Centaur said.
