FTSE 100 movers: Banks on the rise; Rightmove in the red
London’s FTSE 100 was up 0.9% at 7,364.29in afternoon trade on Tuesday.
Online supermarket Ocado was the standout gainer on the index, closely followed by educational publisher Pearson.
Banks were also on the rise, with Standard Chartered, Lloyds, HSBC, NatWest and Barclays all higher.
On the downside, Rightmove fell despite an initiation at ‘buy’ at Davy.
