Gfinity adds new video game to Elite Series
Esports business Gfinity’s football videogame will be the final game to feature in the Elite Series, an eSports league, which is launching later this year.

Multiplayer Rocket League, joins the company’s other games video games Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Street Fighter V which will also feature in the Elite Series.
Gamers are able to apply to take part in the Challenger Series tournament to get ranking points and the opportunity to be drafted into one of eight pro-franchises. They are also allowed to sign up for competitions in all three games.
Chief executive Neville Upton said: "We are taking responsibility for growing the scene in the UK by encouraging people of different abilities to have a shot at competitive gaming through the Challenger Series.
“We want more gamers playing harder and better at the top level to showcase new home-grown talent to existing pro teams, and ultimately pave the way for more UK pro teams being formed that can go on and compete at global events.”
Shares in Gfinity were up 5.43% to 17p at 1359 BST.
