The AIM-listed company acquired a majority stake in Sydney-based search and online media marketing agency Digital Massive in July 2016. The purchase added to an existing presence in the country following its acquisition of UK search marketing agency Epiphany Solutions in 2014 and was part of the company's strategy to deliver a low-risk platform for international growth and product distribution.
Since then, Digital Massive has enjoyed continued growth in Australia, expanding its client list, team and services and has now moved its operations to larger premises in North Sydney and re-branded the business Jaywing.
It works with brands including Wedgwood, Waterford Crystal, Tatts, Century 21, Creditcardcompare and Campos, providing a range of online marketing services including search engine optimisation, pay per click advertising, and programmatic display advertising.
Chief executive officer Martin Boddy said: "We're delighted with the performance of our business in Australia. Following a positive initial period during which we've seen the successful integration of Epiphany Digital and Digital Massive, the expansion into programmatic and wider data science services, a growing list of big name brand clients and a growing team, the time is right to consolidate on that with the launch of Jaywing in Australia.
“This, along with the move to larger premises, will allow us to develop our digital marketing and data offering further to reflect the breadth of our UK services and integrated approach."
At 1240 GMT, the shares were up 6.3% to 42p.
