RideWith helps connect drivers and potential passengers, and serves as a platform to fulfil the payments when both parties agree on the amount proposed by the app, which is calculated adding the cost of gas and depreciation-based on route mileage.
Initially, Ridewith will only let people share trips to and from work, and will be limited to two trips per day.
These limits are aimed at avoiding the regulatory problems that other similar companies like Uber have faced, and to cause less of an issue with traditional taxi drivers

Waze, which was acquired by the US tech giant in 2013 for $1bn, described the app as “an easy way to connect with people who have similar commutes, so you can ride together on the fastest route.” It also provides a deep local traffic insight and a community of users to share experiences.
The app is available in the Google Play store for Android devices, although it currently only works in the Gush Dan region of Waze's home country Israel.
