Sprint Corp posts drop in first quarter revenue
US mobile provider Sprint Corp. on Tuesday reported a 6.7% fall in first-quarter revenue as it cut prices and offered promotions to attract more subscribers.
Sprint gained 1.2m new customers on a net basis compared with a net loss of 383,000 customers last year. However, the company’s net loss widened to $224m from $151m a year earlier, while net operating revenue fell to $8.28bn from $8.88bn.
