1222: According to The Wall Street Journal officials from the European institutions and the International Monetary Fund had agreed on the raft of the agreement for Greece to unlock further financial aid.

1121: According to a journalist from Die Welt an EU source says the Troika have now reached an agreement on the proposal they will put forward to authorities in Athens.
1000: The Eurozone's consumer price index edged higher to a year-on-year rate of 0.3% from 0.2% one year ago (consensus: 0.2%). At the 'core' level they rose by 0.9% versus 0.6% a year back (consensus: 0.7%).
0935: Tesco saw its share of the grocery market decline to 28.6% over the 12 weeks to 24 May, according to Kantar Worldpanel. In the reference period Sainsbury’s sales fell 0.3%while Morrison’s increased by 0.1%.
0835: Stocks are moving slightly lower despite overnight gains on Wall Street and in Greece. The Financial Times reported very early on Tuesday morning that Greece’s international creditors and the ECB had met secretly in Berlin, above all with the aim of thrashing out a common approach towards the country. BHP edged lower at the start on the back of a downgrade out of Deutsche Bank to hold, from buy. Eurozone CPI data and US vehicle sales will be today’s standout figures. Dollar/yen hit 125 last night, for the first since 2002. FTSE 100 down 9.85 points to 6,944.27.
